The problem

You want to help.
You just don't know what to do next.

Most parenting advice ends at "talk to your pediatrician." But pediatric visits are fifteen minutes long, therapist waitlists stretch for months, and YouTube is a maze of conflicting videos from strangers.

Meanwhile the window that matters most — your child's first eight years — keeps moving. Every week, a new milestone you're not sure about. Every evening, the same question: am I doing enough?

We built BASICS because the answer should never be "figure it out yourself."

Am I missing something?

You've googled is it normal that my three-year-old… more times than you'd like to admit. BASICS walks you through age-appropriate milestones so you know what to watch for — and what's perfectly fine.

Therapy is months away.

Waitlists, travel, cost. BASICS gives you a structured home plan to start today. If you're already seeing a therapist, it fits alongside their guidance — not against it.

I don't know what to do today.

BASICS picks three short activities. Each with a video. Ten to twenty minutes apiece. Done. Tomorrow, the next set.

How it works

A plan for your child in four steps.

No clinic visits. No homework for you. Just a plan that keeps up with your child.

  1. 01

    Understand

Answer a few thoughtful questions about your child — age, focus area, and what you're noticing. Takes under two minutes. No jargon, no tests.

  2. 02

    Plan

BASICS builds a personalized Developmental Summary and recommends goals from our therapist-designed library. Pick up to five that feel right. Not sure where to start? Try Find Your Starting Point.

  3. 03

    Practice

Open the Today tab. Three short activities are waiting — each with a guided video, step-by-step instructions, and a clear reason you're doing it. Ten to twenty minutes each, done with your child.

  4. 04

    Measure

Mark each activity done. Rate how it went. Review progress goal by goal. BASICS quietly adjusts tomorrow's plan based on what's working.

A day with BASICS

7:42 AM, Tuesday.
This is what it looks like.

Morning Your three-year-old is eating breakfast. You open BASICS. Three short activities are waiting on the Today tab. You start with the first — "Blow bubbles and name colors."

You already have bubbles. The video shows you how to turn it into an oral-motor exercise that doubles as vocabulary practice. Three minutes of setup. Twelve minutes of play. One very happy child.

You mark it done. BASICS asks one question: how did it go? You tap Doing Well. Two more activities to go — but not right now.

Later That afternoon, before her nap, you do the second — a quick sharing game. By evening, on the couch, the third is done. BASICS celebrates. You don't call it therapy. You call it Tuesday.

BASICS — All activities for today complete, with a celebration message
3 of 3 done today

The best home practice is the practice you actually do. BASICS is built to be the plan you can keep.

— The BASICS design principle
Measuring what matters

Progress you can see. Without pressure.

After each activity, BASICS asks one simple question. Over time, your answers build into a summary you can share with anyone who cares for your child.

After each activity

How did it go?

Pick one of five gentle levels. Five levels, zero judgment.

  1. 1 Just started
    learning this
    "Great first step."
  2. 2 Needs more
    practice
    "Building consistency."
  3. 3 Doing
    well
    "Real progress."
  4. 4 Almost
    there
    "So close!"
  5. 5 Perfected
    this!
    "Time to celebrate."

Developmental Summary

A therapist-style summary of your child's strengths and focus areas, updating as you practice. If a therapist is involved, their notes live here too.

Share with your care team

Export your child's Developmental Summary in one tap. Share it with a pediatrician, therapist, or teacher — no back-and-forth, no recalling what you worked on last month.

1-tap export Therapist-ready

Deeper analytics are on the way. For now, the Summary gives you something real to look at, share, and feel good about.

For families already in therapy

If your child sees a therapist, BASICS shows up already prepared.

Your child's speech therapist, OT, or developmental specialist may already use BASICS Pro — the sister app built for clinicians. If they do, the plan they create for your child flows straight into your Today tab. No setup on your end.

  1. In the clinic

    Your therapist creates the plan

After a 45-minute session with your child, they set goals and activities in BASICS Pro — the clinician-facing app built by the same team.

  2. Auto-sync

Plan appears in your Today tab

The plan flows into your BASICS app automatically. No forms, no re-entry, no setup — just open the app and your child's Today activities are waiting.

  3. At home

    You practice. Export. Share back.

Work through the plan between sessions. Before the next visit, export the Developmental Summary in one tap. Your therapist sees exactly what you did.

Not yet seeing a therapist? BASICS is designed to stand entirely on its own. And if you ever bring one in — the Developmental Summary is already written, ready to hand over.

Who BASICS is for

Wherever you are on this journey, we built BASICS for you.

Four kinds of families. One app that adapts to how you live with your child.

You're not imagining it.

Parents noticing something

Something feels off — the words aren't coming, the eye contact isn't there, the tantrums feel bigger than expected. BASICS helps you understand what's developmentally typical, what to watch, and what you can support today.

Therapy is once a week. We need the other six days.

Parents already in therapy

Your child sees a speech therapist or OT weekly. BASICS fills the rest — structured, expert-designed, ready to go. Export your progress before every session.

The nearest clinic is two hours away.

Families without easy access

Clinics are far. Waitlists are long. Costs add up. BASICS is built so home-based developmental support isn't a privilege of geography.

We all work with the same child.

Grandparents, caregivers & educators

Multiple caregivers can work with the same child. Daycare staff and early-years teachers use printables and games in classrooms. Everyone on the same page.

Questions parents ask

Frequently asked. Honestly answered.

The real questions real parents send us. Tap any one to expand.

What age range is BASICS for?

Children 0 to 8 years. Activities and milestones are calibrated to your child's specific age during onboarding, and the app adjusts as your child grows.

How much time does BASICS take per day?

Three short activities each day, 10–20 minutes apiece — about 30 to 60 minutes of your time total. Do them when they fit: morning routine, after school, bedtime wind-down. Miss a day? Nothing breaks. Pick up tomorrow.

Is BASICS free?

Through May, the full Premium plan is free — our Autism Awareness Month gift to families. After that, Learning Games and printables stay free forever in Guest mode. The personalized plan moves to Premium at $14.99/month or $79.99/year.

Does BASICS replace speech therapy or OT?

No. BASICS is a support tool designed to help parents practice structured developmental activities at home. It doesn't diagnose or replace the care of a licensed professional. If you're concerned about your child's development, please consult a pediatrician.

Does BASICS diagnose autism, ADHD, or speech delays?

No. BASICS is not a diagnostic tool. It offers age-appropriate developmental support and milestone tracking. For formal diagnoses, please see a qualified specialist.

My child has autism, ADHD, or a speech delay. Is BASICS right for us?

BASICS is designed for a wide range of developmental profiles, including children with autism, speech delays, and other neurodevelopmental differences. Goals adapt to your child's specific starting point, not an age-based average. That said, BASICS is a support tool, not a diagnostic one — always work with a qualified clinician for diagnosis and clinical decisions.

My child's therapist uses BASICS Pro. Will their plan show up?

Yes. If your child's therapist creates a plan in BASICS Pro, it auto-syncs to your Today tab. You don't need to set anything up — just open the app and your daily activities are already waiting. You can also export your progress summary in one tap to share back with them.

Do I need to be tech-savvy or have a clinical background?

No to both. If you can open an app, you can use BASICS. Every activity has a short video walkthrough and step-by-step instructions written for parents — no jargon, no assumptions.

Does my child need to use the app on a screen?

Only for the Learning Games. The daily activities are off-screen — you read the activity, watch the video, then do it together with everyday materials. The app is the instruction manual. Your child stays with you.

What languages is BASICS available in?

English and हिन्दी (Hindi) are both fully supported — the entire app, including activity descriptions and daily content, switches languages in a single tap. More languages are on the way.

Can I add more than one child?

Yes — as many as you'd like on Premium. Each child gets their own profile, plan, goals, and progress history. Switch between them in a single tap. Grandparents and other caregivers can view the same child.

Does BASICS work offline?

You need an internet connection to download each day's activities and videos. Once loaded, most content works offline. Printables can be saved and used anywhere.

What happens if I delete my account?

Your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently removed. Need immediate deletion? Email support@mywellnesshub.in.

Who built BASICS?

Wellness Hub India Private Limited, the team behind the broader Wellness Hub ecosystem of early childhood and therapy products. Clinical direction involves certified speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists.
